SERYDDA was established to help more people experience that feeling — whether through stargazing sessions, night photography workshops or light painting experiences.

Meet Dafydd — Wales’ Most Enthusiastic Night Photographer
Dafydd has spent years chasing the perfect night sky — from the soft glow of the Milky Way above the Cambrian Mountains to meteor showers sweeping across ancient landscapes. His passion is unmistakable: the sort of excitement that makes you look up at the sky in a completely new way.
Based in Tregaron, Dafydd has become a key figure in astro-tourism in Wales. He played an instrumental role in establishing the Cambrian Mountains Astro Trail in 2019, and his photography has been published in:

But more than the accolades, Dafydd is known for his generosity — sharing his knowledge, techniques, and love for the night with anyone curious enough to join him outdoors after sunset.

⭐ Starbathing Experiences
Short, accessible 60-minute sessions that bring the night sky alive.
This involves lying down on generations-old Welsh blankets identifying up to five key celestial objects-every night has its Big 5 to spot. At the same time, SERYDDA will have shown you its Smart Telescope and you will have chosen a deep sky obkect to image.
This experience also includes some Galaxy Collection Hathren Brownies and a taster of Dà Mhìle Dark Skies Rum.
⭐ Night Photography Workshops
Learn how to capture the night like a pro with Dafydd's 1:1 or small-group sessions. These hands-on workshops are perfect for beginners, hobbyists, and professionals looking to improve their skills.
