Stargazing Experiences with Dafydd
Whether you’re hoping to spot a handful of twinkling stars, photograph the Milky Way, watch a meteor shower, or catch the rare glow of noctilucent clouds, Dafydd is the expert who can take you to the right place at the right time.

Every session is safe, memorable and fully insured.

Session Details
If the weather is perfect, your session may include:

Welcome & Setup (5 minutes)
Get comfortable, settle in, and prepare your eyes for the dark. -
Night Sky Highlights (up to 15 minutes)
Discover the celestial sights visible that evening — constellations, planets, deep sky objects and more. -
Myth & Legend Connections (5–7 minutes)
Hear the stories of the night sky through the myths and legends of Cymru. -
Photography Time (10 minutes)
Capture your own night sky images with guidance. -
Light-Based Fun Session (10 minutes)
A short creative break with safe light sources. -
A Cosy Finale (around 20 minutes)
Enjoy a warming sip of Dark Skies Rum and homemade brownies, and/or hot drinks.
Afterwards, take a look at images from the evening on a projector

If the Weather Isn’t on Our Side
Cloudy nights don’t have to spoil the fun. If stargazing isn’t possible, we can switch to a light painting session — a creative, long-exposure photography activity where you use hand-held lights to “draw” patterns, shapes, or words in the air while the camera captures the trails.
It’s imaginative, fun, and produces stunning, unique images you can take home.
